TetraMin: The Original Flaked Fish Food

In 1951, Dr. Ulrich Baensch revolutionised fish feeding when he developed TetraMin. Made with only four ingredients, this food transformed the hobby and made fishkeeping accessible.
Prior to this fish keepers would have to catch and feed their fish daphnia and mosquito larvae.

Tetra set itself apart from competitors through continued investment into research and development. The financial investment into technology and facilities is recognised by the industry as the largest in the world.

Thus, the Association for the Promotion of Science and Humanities awarded Tetra with the “Innovation through Research” quality seal. Tetra has also been included in the second edition of the “Encyclopaedia of German World Market Leaders”. Which recognises companies for their innovative power and as exceptional industry leaders.
